Klungkung - The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is a survey conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) specifically designed to collect employment data. Sakernas is held semiannually, namely in February and August. Until now, Sakernas has undergone various changes in terms of implementation time, level of estimation, coverage, methodology, and questionnaires. In general, the purpose of data collection for the February 2023 Sakernas is to provide basic continuous employment data. Specifically, the February 2023 Sakernas aims to obtain data estimates on the number of working population, the number of unemployed, and other employment indicators, as well as representative developments at the national and provincial levels. In addition, the February 2023 Sakernas also has an additional specific objective to collect information regarding the impact of COVID-19 on employment in Indonesia. Sakernas collects information from each selected household regarding the general condition of each household member (name, relationship to head of household, gender, nationality, place of birth, month and year of birth and age). For household members aged 5 years and over, information was collected on the National Identity Number (NIK), marital status, school participation, education and training, place of residence 5 years ago, disability, work activities in the last week, main job, job search activity / preparing for new businesses, work experience both at home and abroad, other activities, as well as the Pre-Employment Card Program. The implementation of this activity starts from January 26 to February 28 2023. The implementation of this data collection begins with carrying out officer training. BPS Klungkung Regency held the training on 24-25 January 2023 with the aim of aligning the perceptions of the concepts and definitions used during implementation.
