Training for Producer Price Survey Officers

The Producer Price Survey is a survey aimed at obtaining complete and continuous producer price data for calculating the Producer Price Index for the mining and quarrying sector and the processing industry sector. The Producer Price Index (PPI) is an economic indicator that is able to show the behavior of each good and service which is used as an early warning system for price fluctuations at the next price level, apart from that it is also used to support the preparation of the BPS balance of payments in calculating economic growth and as a economic analysis material.

Training for Producer Price Survey Officers at BPS Klungkung Regency was carried out on 11-13 January 2024 in a hybrid manner. This training was carried out 2 days face-to-face in the Klungkung Regency BPS Meeting Room and 1 day online via zoom meeting. Implementation of Producer Price Survey data collection is carried out routinely with a monthly frequency.
