Abstract

The number of international airplane departures from Ngurah Rai Airport in March 2017 reached 2,376 flight units. This number was recorded an increase of 3.71 percent compared to the previous month which reached 2,291 units. This is in contrast to the number of international flight passengers in the same period, which decreased by 0.37 percent from 420,148 in February 2017 to 418,582 in March 2017. In line with the departure of the aircraft, the number of international luggage and air freight An increase of 10.24 percent, from 7.14 million tons to 7.87 million tons.

For domestic air transport, the number of aircraft departing from Ngurah Rai Airport in March 2017 was 3.262 flight units, up 6.64 percent compared to the previous month's condition of 3,059 flight units. This condition is not different with the number of passengers as many as 378,507 people, or up 5.91 percent compared to the previous month which reached 357,390 people. In line with the number of baggage and goods increased by 3.58 percent from 3.92 million tons in February 2017 to 4.06 million tons in March 2017.

For sea freight, the number of passengers departing through several ports in Bali Province in March 2017 is 206,497 people. This figure rose 8.06 percent compared to the previous month which reached 191,087 people. Meanwhile, for the transportation of goods in the same period and mode of transportation, it reached 25,343 tons, an increase of 17.34 percent compared to the previous month which reached 21,598 tons.
