In February 2023, the CPI of Denpasar City and Singaraja City recorded inflation as high as 0.07 percent as indicated by an increase in the Consumer Price Index (base year 2018=100) from 114.00 in January 2023 to 114.08 in February 2023. Of the 90 CPI cities, 63 cities experienced inflation and 27 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in Ternate City (North Maluku) as high as 1.85 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest inflation was recorded at 0.04 percent which occurred in four cities, namely Denpasar City (Bali), Bengkulu City (Bengkulu), Madiun City (East Java) and Lubuklinggau City (South Sumatra).
