EXPORT
In October 2023, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad was recorded to increase by 16.94 percent month to month (m-t-m), from US$ 46,548,623 in September 2023 to US$ 54,433,849 in October 2023. When compared with October 2022 year on year (y-o-y), Bali's export value in October 2023 was recorded to have increased by 3.01 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in October 2023, the value of exports to Singapore was recorded to have increased by 309.43 percent (m-t-m). This increase was mainly due to the increase in exports of clothing products and accessories (not knitted) (HS 62).
The cumulative export value in the January-October 2023 period was recorded at US$ 477,667,836, down 6.00 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORT
In line with exports, Bali Province's import performance in October 2023 shows an increase. The value of Bali Province imports of goods from abroad in October 2023 was recorded at US$ 11,486,602, an increase of 13.83 percent compared to September 2023 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 10,090,706. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of Bali Province in October 2023 was also recorded as having increased by 21.59 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of import origin in October 2023, the value of imports from Singapore recorded the highest increase month to month, namely 87.23 percent, which was mainly due to the increase in imports of mineral fuel products (HS 27).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-October 2023 period was recorded at US$ 102,045,494, an increase of 54.61 percent compared to the previous year's period.
