EXPORT
In August 2024, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad was recorded to increase by 12.04 percent month to month (m-to-m), from US$ 50,735,894 in July 2024 to US$ 56,845,054 in August 2024. When compared with August 2023 or year on year (y-on-y), Bali's export value in August 2024 was recorded to have increased by 28.19 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in August 2024, the value of exports to Taiwan was recorded to have increased by 605.49 percent (m-to-m). This increase was mainly due to the increase in exports of Plastic products and Plastic Goods (HS 39).
The cumulative export value in the January-August 2024 period was recorded at US$ 431,931,408, an increase of 14.70 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORT
In line with exports, Bali Province's import performance in August 2024 shows an increase. The value of Bali Province imports of goods from abroad in August 2024 was recorded at US$ 21,369,957, an increase of 83.41 percent compared to July 2024 (m-to-m) which was recorded at US$ 11,651,260. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of Bali Province in August 2024 was recorded to have increased by 87.84 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of import origin in August 2024, the value of imports from Vietnam recorded the highest increase month to month, namely 4,442.43 percent, which was mainly due to the increase in imports of cereal products (HS 10).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-August 2024 period was recorded at US$ 112,092,540, an increase of 39.30 percent compared to the previous year's period.
