Abstract

There were 593,909 foreign tourists who came directly to Bali Province in September 2024, down 3.69 percent compared to the previous month when there were 616,641 visits. Tourists from Australia dominate foreign tourist arrivals to Bali in September 2024 with a share of 24.94 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in September 2024 was recorded at 66.34 percent, a decrease of 3.82 points compared to August 2024 which was recorded at 70.16 percent. When compared with September 2023 (y-on-y) which reached 59.25 percent, the room occupancy rate in September 2024 was recorded to have increased by 7.09 points. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels was recorded at 48.83 percent, down 3.17 points compared to August 2024 which was recorded at 52.00 percent.

The average length of stay for foreign and domestic guests at star-rated hotels in Bali in September 2024 was recorded at 2.79 days, down 0.07 points compared to the achievement in August 2024 (m-to-m) which was recorded at 2.86 days. When compared with the achievement in September 2023 (y-on-y) which was recorded at 2.51 days, the average length of stay in September 2024 increased by 0.28 points. Meanwhile, for non-star hotels, the average length of stay in September 2024 was recorded at 2.43 days, down 0.02 points compared to the average length of stay in August 2024 which was recorded at 2.45 days.
