Bali Province Tourism Development May 2024

There were 544,601 foreign tourists who came directly to Bali Province in May 2024, an increase of 8.23 percent compared to the previous month when there were 503,194 visits. Tourists from Australia dominate foreign tourist arrivals to Bali in May 2024 with a share of 23.74 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in May 2024 was recorded at 66.10 percent, an increase of 8.41 points compared to April 2024 which was recorded at 57.69 percent. When compared with May 2023 (y-on-y) which reached 47.30 percent, the room occupancy rate in May 2024 was recorded to have increased by 18.80 points. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels was recorded at 47.02 percent, an increase of 2.97 points compared to April 2024 which was recorded at 44.05 percent.

The average length of stay for foreign and domestic guests at star-rated hotels in Bali in May 2024 was recorded at 2.75 days, down 0.01 points compared to the achievement in April 2024 (m-to-m) which was recorded at 2.76 days. When compared with the achievement in May 2023 (y-on-y) which was recorded at 2.39 days, the average length of stay in May 2024 increased by 0.36 points. Meanwhile, for non-star hotels, the average length of stay in May 2024 was recorded at 2.50 days, down 0.01 points compared to the average length of stay in April 2024 which was recorded at 2.51 days.
