Abstract

There were 616,641 foreign tourists coming directly to Bali Province in August 2024, down 1.44 percent compared to the previous month when there were 625,665 visits. Tourists from Australia dominate foreign tourist arrivals to Bali in August 2024 with a share of 23.17 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in August 2024 was recorded at 70.16 percent, an increase of 1.38 points compared to July 2024 which was recorded at 68.78 percent. When compared with August 2023 (y-on-y) which reached 60.64 percent, the room occupancy rate in August 2024 was recorded to have increased by 9.52 points. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels was recorded at 52.00 percent, an increase of 1.97 points compared to July 2024 which was recorded at 50.03 percent.

The average length of stay for foreign and domestic guests at star-rated hotels in Bali in August 2024 was recorded at 2.86 days, an increase of 0.11 points compared to the achievement in July 2024 (m-to-m) which was recorded at 2.75 days. When compared with the achievement in August 2023 (y-on-y) which was recorded at 2.55 days, the average length of stay in August 2024 increased by 0.31 points. Meanwhile, for non-star hotels, the average length of stay in August 2024 was recorded at 2.45 days, an increase of 0.02 points compared to the average length of stay in July 2024 which was recorded at 2.43 days.
