Development of Bali Province Consumer Price Index January 2025

January 2025 Consumer Price Index (CPI) of Bali Province on a year on year basis recorded inflation of 2.41 percent. The highest inflation was recorded in Tabanan Regency at 3.00 percent.

In January 2025 on a year on year (y-on-y) basis, Bali Province experienced inflation of 2.41 percent with a Consumer Price Index (base year 2022=100) of 107.85. The highest inflation was recorded in Tabanan Regency at 3.00 percent with a CPI of 110.72 and the lowest inflation was recorded in Singaraja at 1.61 percent with a CPI of 107.13.

Annual inflation (y-on-y) occurred due to rising prices of observed commodities as indicated by the increase in the CPI in nine expenditure groups, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group rose by 8.26 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.56 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.92 percent; health group by 1.08 percent; transportation group by 0.93 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 2.00 percent; education group by 3.05 percent; food and beverage supply / restaurant group by 4.70 percent; and personal care and other services group by 3.60 percent. Meanwhile, two groups recorded a decrease in the index, namely the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group fell by 9.94 percent and the information, communication and financial services group fell by 0.45 percent.

On a monthly basis (month to month / m-t-m), Bali Province recorded deflation of 0.02 percent. Likewise, on a year to date (y-to-d) basis, deflation of 0.02 percent was recorded.
